Crutches 4 Africa Get Packaged for Shipping in Dracut

DRACUT – On Saturday, Rotary Club members from Dracut and Littleton, along family and friends, gathered in Dracut to unload a truck of donated crutches, canes, walkers and wheelchairs, reloading them into a shipping container headed for a developing nation where local Rotarians are waiting to distribute the mobility devices to the people who need them. Dracut Rotary Collects Crutches for Needy in 3rd World

DRACUT – The Rotary Club of Dracut brought the plight of those in need in nations around the world to the people of their community last week. The Club launched its latest humanitarian effort on Saturday, September 10th, as part of Dracut’s Old Home Day. The people of Dracut responded overwhelmingly, donating nearly 400 pairs of crutches, walkers, canes, and wheelchairs for the Crutches 4 Africa project. Continue reading →
